David Allcock – Biography
David, originally from Liverpool (England) earned his Podiatry degree from the University of Salford. With a background as a frontline Emergency Response Ambulance Technician and 13 years in the British Army, including service in Afghanistan and postings in Germany and Kenya, he brings a global perspective and comfort in communicating across diverse cultures.
In his podiatry practice, David covers a range of services, including routine care, biomechanics, plantar wart treatments, nail surgery, and orthotic devices, known for his meticulous attention to detail. He takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming clinic, emphasizing a professional environment.
Outside of his practice, David is passionate about a variety of outdoor activities, including running, cycling, and water sports such as surfing and underwater hockey. His love for open water swimming and dedication to indoor rowing competitions further showcase his commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle. He firmly believes in the positive energy derived from spending time outdoors for maintaining a healthy mind and body.
David actively contributes to reducing NSHA wait times for specific patients, optimizing schedules, and ensuring continued foot care through private health insurance. As a member of the Nova Scotia Podiatry Association, he stays connected, emphasizing continuous learning and networking.
